ABOUT
In my work with the U.S. Department of Commerce, I partnered with cross-agency stakeholders to bring structure and clarity to multi-step, data-rich workflows. The work centered on making complex policy processes and interactions understandable and usable through thoughtful UX design, visual frameworks, and digital mockups.NTIA needed to translate broadband data from 17 federal agencies into clear, usable reports and dashboards for Congress and the public.

WORK
Information Architecture & Structure
I mapped complex processes and workflows into intuitive information architectures. By breaking down large amounts of content and functional requirements into clear page and navigation structures, I helped teams focus on what matters most for users. These diagrams served as communication tools for stakeholders and as blueprints for development.
Visual Diagrams & Process Translation
To make complexity easier to see and act on, I created visual diagrams and user flow models that represented how users move through multi-stage processes. These diagrams became the foundation for design decisions, helping disparate teams align on experience strategy and content priorities.
Website Implementation Mockups
From initial sketches to high-fidelity mockups, I translated structured information into visual representations of key pages and interactions. Using Figma, I built mockups that incorporated visual hierarchy, contextual cues, and accessibility considerations. These designs guided development and ensured that the user experience reflected strategic intent.
